Evangeliya Delizonas-Khukhua is a performer and a piano teacher at Kansas City School of Music. She studied at the Central Music School of the Moscow State Conservatory as a student of Tamara Koloss. Later, she became a student at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory under professor Ludmila Roschina, earning bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. She then studied in the International Center for Music at Park University (Parkville, Missouri) under Stanislav Ioudenitsch.
She is a laureate of the 22nd International Ennio Porrino Piano Competition held in Cagliari, Italy (3rd prize, 2013), a laureate of the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede, Netherlands (2nd prize, 2006), a laureate of the International Programme UNESCO’s “Young Virtuoso of the 21st Century” (2000), and the special prize winner of the First International Competition of Central Music School at Moscow State Conservatory (2000).
Evangeliya has performed in the halls of Moscow Conservatory including Great Hall, Moscow International Music House, Moscow Central Concert Hall (Russia), Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Armory Chamber of Kremlin, Alfred Cortot Hall and Hall Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, and the Hall of the palace at the UN in Geneva. She has performed in Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Austria, Switzerland, France, Greece, Japan, and the USA as a soloist and chamber musician.
She has also worked as a collaborative pianist at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, commonly known as The Bolshoi Ballet Academy and at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
