Trumpet teacher Andrew Stadler

Andrew Stadler is a trumpet player and educator at the Kansas City School of Music. He performs a variety of styles in settings from solo and chamber groups to orchestras and wind bands. His performances have taken him throughout the United States and internationally, including concerts at Carnegie Hall and Kansas City’s Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. 

Andrew is passionate about teaching. In addition to his private studio, he has worked with students through the Yale School of Music’s Music in Schools Initiative. He also regularly conducts clinics and performances at public schools throughout the Kansas City area with Volker Brass, the graduate fellowship brass quintet at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. In addition to playing with Volker Brass, he is second trumpet with the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and he performs regularly with the Midwest Chamber Ensemble in Kansas City.

Andrew is also currently pursuing his Doctorate of Musical Arts at UMKC where he studies with Dr. Keith Benjamin. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Alabama where he studied with Dr. Eric Yates, and his Master of Music degree from the Yale School of Music where he studied with Allan Dean.
